Job Title: Controls Engineering Group Manager

Required Skills: Provide technical leadership for design improvements, cost reductions, and maintenance of the product line. Communicate on a regular basis with Product Management and laboratory personnel regarding the design of related equipment. Create, update, and maintain baselines associated with related equipment and write reports on new equipment and specifications. Must have analytical skills necessary to complete research and testing, which requires collecting and analyzing data. Conduct test procedures on new equipment. Concept, detail, and update electrical schematics and software designs as required for sold orders and/or R&D projects. Support Service Department, as required, to resolve problems with equipment in the field and participate in factory acceptance testing and startup activities.

Location: Marion, IA

Required Education: Education - High School graduate and 4-year B.S. degree in Engineering. MBA preferred. B. Experience - 1-3 years programming experience using Visual Basic and/or Visual C++, or some other higher level programming language is preferred. Familiarity with the principles of designing control panels for industrial automation is preferred.

Reports To: VP Engineering

Travel: Travel up to 20% of the time required, to participate in factory acceptance testing and startup activities.

Physical Requirements: - Must be able to travel 20%; Agility and flexibility may be required during in-plant debugging activity; Must be able to climb and descend stairs several times daily.
