Freund-Vector’s Commitment to Pharmaceutical Processing Education

For the past 20 years, Freund-Vector has contributed more than 50 times to the University of Mississippi’s Hands-On Course in Tablet Technology.  From September 09-14, 2018, Freund-Vector will be participating in lectures and demonstrations on processing of a pharmaceutical API and excipients to form granules and extrudates.

The University of Mississippi’s Hands-On Course in Tablet Technology is a combination of lectures and laboratory sessions.  Industry and academia experts present lectures and supervise laboratory exercises that provide a scientific overview of the entire tableting operation and extensive hands-on experience with advanced technology associated with developing and manufacturing tablets.  This seminar provides an extensive review of conventional and advanced manufacturing technologies that is used to develop a variety of novel delivery and continuous manufacturing systems

Nick Slater, Senior Process Development Scientist, will be leading the Pan Coating laboratory session.  During this session, Nick will be using Freund-Vector’s LCDS to demonstrate Coating of Pharmaceutical Oral Solid Dosage Forms.  You can learn more about Freund Vector’s “VHC” Hi-Coater Pan Coating Technology by viewing YouTube.
